This committee coordinates various aspects of the weekly worship service, as well as special services, such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve. It provides training for the beadles and acolytes, schedules ushers, and coordinates communion servers and baptisms. This committee assists with special days in the life of the church such as weddings and funerals and is responsible for maintaining wedding and funeral policies. The music program is vital to worship, and the organist/choir director works to integrate all aspects of music into worship, using adult and children's choirs, and instrumentalists. Using the lectionary and seasons of the church year, the worship committee helps the McGregor staff to maintain the elements of the sacraments, biblical symbols, and music offerings, with the hope that believers are transformed and renewed through corporate worship.
